Just like when The Avengers first hit theaters in 2012, it’s hard to fathom that the Justice League will finally be uniting on the big screen later this year. While the DCEU has had a rocky road so far, many fans are eager to see six of its titans brought to life and working together. Though we’ve spent a varying amount of time with each character, the movie will give us our longest look at The Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman ahead of their solo movies....

Gigantic dinosaurs may soon be roaming the planet once again — at least on iOS and Android. Universal Studios and Montreal-based video game company Ludia have teamed up to create Jurassic World Alive. The title is a new augmented reality game launching this spring, and the premise is similar to Niantic’s Pokémon GO. Players will walk around in the game on a map based on your current location to discover dinosaurs and collect their eggs....

This year has no shortage of massive franchise installments and blockbusters, but one of the largest on the horizon is Justice League. Zack Snyder’s third installment in the DC Extended Universe is set to bring various superheroes together, including Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg. Superman is also going to be part of the proceedings, though the character has been absent from the marketing materials thus far. This probably has to do with the way his arc ended in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and his resurrection is meant to be a surprise for the audience....

And considering the threats they’ve met and sent packing already, that really is saying something. But their next foe will either define them… or defeat them. In the previous issue of Tynion and Bueno’s Justice League Dark, John Constantine appeared to tell Wonder Woman that if she was looking for an answer to the team’s (and her own) recent troubles, the answer was in the ally she never expected....

Sam Elliott’s villain in Justified season 6 reminded everybody just how good the veteran actor can be. Sam Elliott is instantly recognizable due to his trademark mustache and deep voice, and he’s appeared in just about every genre imaginable, from drama to comedy and comic book movies. His most iconic roles is probably The Stranger from The Big Lebowski, who acts as the narrator of the Coen brothers oddball comedy. Other cult favorites featuring the actor including 1989’s Road House and Tombstone alongside Kurt Russell....

Jordan Peele’s anthology TV show, Weird City, has been ordered to series at YouTube. Peele has been the talk of the town ever since his directorial debut film, Get Out, hit theaters early last year, which eventually resulted in him winning an Oscar a few months ago. And now, he’s had his run of new projects, including the upcoming film Us. Peele is best known for being one-half of a comedy duo along with Keegan-Michael Key....

Billionaire Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s patent trolling lawsuit filed against Apple, Facebook, Google, YouTube and others has been dismissed by the courts. “Plaintiff has failed to identify the infringing products or devices with any specificity,” wrote U.S. District Court Judge Marsha Pechman in her order to dismiss. “The Court and Defendants are left to guess what devices infringe on the four patents. Allen was claiming that the companies had violated four patents developed by Internal Research (a research firm he funded)....

Remember that class-action lawsuit alleging AppleCare+ customers were being given subpar replacement products? This week a federal judge rejected the case while calling the plantiffs’ lawyer “manifestly incompetent” and suggesting the counsel orchestrated the entire case. ArsTechnica reports the judge’s rejection this week claimed the lawyer encouraged the plaintiffs to purchase AppleCare plans and record interactions with Apple employees “for the purpose of initiating this lawsuit.” But none of the plaintiffs were disgruntled consumers who went looking for a lawyer after getting bad service....

A trailer has arrived for Jumanji 3, which is now officially known as Jumanji: The Next Level. The film is a direct sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which revived the Jumanji franchise in 2017 and went on to become Sony’s highest-grossing domestic release of all time - a title that Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man had been holding onto for the previous fifteen years. Welcome to the Jungle updated the series’ premise by turning the enchanted board game Jumanji into a magical video game that sucks players into a world of jungle traps and puzzles....

Today at CES 2017, Kanex announced its new GoPlay Series of portable wireless game controllers for iOS and tvOS. The first release in the series, the GoPlay SideKick, is a pocket-sized wireless gaming controller that works with the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. The GoPlay SideKick is MFi-certified, and hence will work with most of the games available on the App Store with built-in support for MFi controllers. The SideKick features a 20-hour rechargeable battery and features Bluetooth 4....

DeWanda Wise has joined the cast of Jurassic World 3 in a leading role. Justin Timberlake is set to play an ex-con in Palmer, an upcoming drama film. Though he’s appeared in a number of notable movies throughout his long career, Timberlake is better known for his more comedic performances. In one of the pop star’s first roles, he shared the screen with Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey in the 2006 thriller Edison. More lighthearted portrayals would follow, including in Shrek 3, The Love Guru, as well as functioning as something close to comedic relief in David Fincher’s The Social Network....

Kanye West recently made his triumphant return to Twitter, sharing his thoughts on politics, fashion, and much more. Now, the rapper and fashion designer is turning his attention towards technology, publicly calling for a meeting with Apple CEO Tim Cook… West’s tweet was rather straightforward, simply saying that he’d “like to meet with Tim Cook” and that he has “some ideas.” It’s unclear what ideas the rapper could be referring to, and given his sporadic nature on Twitter, it’s nearly impossible to guess....

With only 2 days left until the holiday shopping season kicks off with Black Friday, Target has pushed out an update for its iOS app. Version 6.3 brings a new design full of iOS 7-inspired fonts, colors and icons. Users can more easily navigate the app with the swipe-to-go-back feature just like the one that is prominently used in the stock Mail app. Of course, the app continues to offer power shopping tools like a Store Finder, TargetLists, access to the weekly ad, and more....
