While it’s not yet the long-hoped for Zack Snyder cut of Justice League, a DC fan has assembled a new opening sequence for the film. The scene not only restores credit to several actors whose roles found themselves left on the cutting room floor, but also brings in audio from other projects to help set the somber tone for the post-Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice DCEU. The opening scene of Justice League, as it was released to theaters, featured a mobile phone video shot by two young children eagerly interviewing Superman for their podcast....

Zack Snyder has urged fans not to give up hope regarding his version of Justice League. The ambitious team-up movie was originally designed to be part one of a two-part story. One which would have pit various DC Comics heroes against the otherworldly forces of Darkseid. Following Man of Steel and Batman v Superman, the DCEU installment was set to be directed by Snyder and pay off numerous threads from previous adventures....

“We think that Apple’s brand and market share momentum offer meaningful buffers” to a slowdown in consumer spending, analyst Mark Moskowitz wrote in a note to clients. “We expect numbers to come down across the sector, but Apple likely has a backstop beyond the first round.” The analyst rates Apple stock ‘Overweight’ (up from neutral) and observes the iPhone will eventually grow to become 10 per cent of Apple sales....

Tigertron’s eco-themed PS VR game debut Jupiter & Mars doesn’t feel overly polemic or dull, but decidedly underwhelming all the same. Earth Day 2019 has a punctual video game counterpart this year, with Tigertron’s first PlayStation 4 release, the dolphin adventure Jupiter & Mars. The basis for the game is certainly admirable — a timely underwater fantasy taking place in a pressing future where the sea-level has risen dramatically, swallowing up recognizable landmasses and landmarks to scoot past — but there are a slew of problems and niggles that may inevitably cause players to balk at its price-tag....

Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady and a terrifying new hybrid dinosaur, the Indoraptor, are featured on a new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom cover for Total Film. The previous movie was a massive smash hit at the box office upon its release in 2015, grossing a staggering $1.67 billion at the worldwide box office, and the sequel (directed by J.A. Bayona) hopes to continue that momentum by offering more new dinosaur species, and bringing back Jeff Goldblum as Doctor Ian Malcolm....

Costumes from the upcoming Justice League movie are on display at San Diego Comic-Con, giving a new look at the team. Though Comic-Con hasn’t officially started yet, many exhibits are open to press today, the DC costumes being one. The costumes were on display earlier this year at the Licencing Expo, but now fans have access to them for the first time and are able to see up close the detail that audiences haven’t been able to see in the trailers....

Apple’s Tim Cook and Craig Federighi have been ordered to testify in the company’s ongoing legal battle with Epic Games. New court filings this week indicate that Epic is making a long list of requests for documents and testimonies from Apple, and Apple argues that these requests will place a large burden on the company. As first noted by iMore, the filing indicates that Epic is asking Apple to supply “extensive documentation” regarding the App Store and its various policies....

Even though Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is centered primarily around dinosaurs, genetic meddling, and Chris Pratt’s solid comedic timing, it also manages to fit in several jabs at US President Donald J. Trump. Though there is no direct mention of Trump, the movie makes a handful of references. In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Owen Grady (played by Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (played by Bryce Dallas Howard) return to Isla Nublar three years after the events of the first Jurassic World in order to help vacate as many dinosaurs off the island as possible before a volcano wipes them out completely....

A new alternate scene from Justice League has surfaced online, where Batman’s recruiting of Aquaman takes place a little differently than it did in the theatrical cut. The scene in question takes place early on in the film, after Batman sets out to unite the members of the Justice League against the looming arrival of Steppenwolf. When Justice League was released last year, its reception was generally a tad lukewarm with both critics and audiences....

A new video shows the cast of Justice League having fun with some new photo filters from the movie. This past weekend has been a big one for Justice League. With the movie hitting theaters in a little over a month, promotion has been ramping up in recent weeks. From the bond between Cyborg and Aquaman to Ben Affleck discussing what sets Batman apart from the rest of the League, we’ve gotten a much better idea of what the character interactions will be like in Justice League thanks to the recent coverage of the film....

Warner Bros. releases a character poster for Superman in celebration of Justice League’s Digital HD release. The company has cranked up their marketing machine once again to promote the film’s official arrival online, and after rolling out a hilarious Batman/Superman promo spot, they’ve now shared a new Man of Steel-centric illustration. Superman has been a controversial character in the current DC Films Universe - from people not liking how surly he was in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice to his less glorious come back in Justice League (not to mention his odd-looking upper lip in majority of the film)....

Explaining the origins of the movement to release Snyder Cut of Justice League is not a simple task. While the actual movement is really only a few months old, it’s actually the culmination of a trend started years ago with Christopher Nolan and the Dark Knight trilogy. Prior to the release of Batman Begins, superhero movies, particularly Batman movies, weren’t known for taking a sincere approach to the source material. There were certainly some excellent stand-out comic book movies over the years, including a number of more serious takes, but the general perception was that it took a healthy dose of cheese for any of them to work....

A full-length trailer for Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone has arrived. It’s been a life-changing two years for Peele since he went from being a fan-favorite comedic actor - known for his Key & Peele sketch comedy series with Keegan-Michael Key - to one of the pioneers in the modern horror scene, following his directorial debut on 2017’s Get Out. The latter film won Peele an Oscar for his screenwriting and was celebrated for being an incisive exploration of racism in America through the lens of a darkly satirical narrative that wouldn’t have felt out of place on Rod Serling’s original Twilight Zone TV series....

Jude Law’s character in Captain Marvel has been at the center of a great deal of debate and discussion. Originally reported in the trades to be playing Walter Lawson (the alter ego of the Kree hero Mar-Vell), recent revelations seem to indicate that Law may be playing Yon-Rogg. While we wait to find out for sure, we do know that Law’s character is the leader of the Kree Starforce and Carol Danvers’ mentor....

The film’s science may have taken a few liberties, but the moral decisions it discusses are real. The version of Justice League released in theaters is credited with Zack Snyder as director, but he left the production before it was completed in the wake of a family tragedy, and in his absence, Joss Whedon was brought on to add nearly 80 new script pages and reshoot massive chunks of the movie. The final product bears little resemblance to Zack Snyder’s original intent. In the years since Justice League’s release, fans have mounted a persistent campaign for the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut....

You can add Kanye West to the exclusive club of celebrities with an all-gold Apple Watch Edition with a gold Link Bracelet. The rapper sported the custom made Apple Watch to the Chicago Bulls vs. Cleveland Cavaliers playoff game earlier today, and he wore the watch while performing during a timeout. He also recently wore his Watch to a Louis Vuitton event. West is now the third known individual with this special edition device, joining singer Beyonce and fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld....

The latest poster for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sidelines the human characters in favor of dinosaurs, with Blue, the trained and loyal Velociprator, positioned front and center. In Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World, the Jurassic series picked up again after a 14-year gap following Joe Johnston’s Jurassic Park III in 2001. In that time, the on-screen dinosaurs were given a second chance at headlining a brand new dino-focused park. Between ridable baby Triceratops, massive Mosasaurus tanks, and feeding exhibits for the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the new era of dinosaur attractions did its best at erasing the park’s troubling past....

Kanye West and IMAX announce Jesus Is King. The feature film will complement the American musician’s ninth studio album of the same name, which was originally scheduled for a September 27 release, but has yet to appear online. In 2018, West produced several albums collectively known as the “Wyoming Sessions.” One of the releases was Ye, the musician’s anticipated eighth album. The cover art includes a mountain skyline, along with the text “I hate being Bi-Polar it’s awesome....
