[Warning: Possible SPOILERS for Justice League Part One ahead]

-

Slowly but surely, rumors and hints about the forthcoming Justice League films are trickling out. Some of them, such as the Atlantean-Human war postulation, have a measure of credibility (or at least repetition) behind them. Others, like the rumors about certain cosmic menaces meddling in Earthly affairs, seem to link up with existing teasers.

The latest round of gossip suggests that Justice League Part One involves Steppenwolf retrieving three left-behind Mother Boxes. A new rumor suggests a connection between an ancient war and a very modern conflict between two of the DCEU’s mightiest nations.

If true, Black Canary’s heritage could play a major role in setting the historical context of Justice League and repairing the rift between Atlantis and Themyscira. The rumors also suggest Cyborg will play a major role in uncovering the coming onslaught, and could be a vital connection which will aid the League in their dealings with the Mother Boxes and the big bads seeking to possess them. We’ll see how valid these theories wind up as more details are released about Justice League Part One and Aquaman in the coming months.
