Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and Thanos actor Josh Brolin have thanked the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s fans for supporting Avengers: Infinity War on its way to a massive opening weekend at the global box office.

Marvel fans went to see Infinity War in droves, and although the film left many crying, scratching their heads and/or even traumatized, it has already become one of the largest movie events of the year, if not the decade. Many fans have plans on seeing it again, with some having not seen it yet, preferring to wait until after opening weekend to avoid crowds. Other fans are spending time formulating theories and trying to figure out exactly what might happen when Avengers 4 arrives in 2019. Others are just impatiently counting down the days until that next Avengers movie arrives.

Now, two members of the MCU have issued a personal thanks to fans for being so dedicated to the movie. Feige posted a letter on Twitter, thanking fans for their support, as you can see below:

But Feige wasn’t alone in his gratefulness. Brolin also took time to record a video for fans on his Instagram account:

It is no surprise that Infinity War managed to break box office records this weekend, but it ended up even exceeding the expectations. Early projections saw the movie making around $200 million in the U.S., but in the end, it took in a whopping $258.2 million instead. Globally, the film has already scored a massive $640.9 million. Fans eagerly headed to the theaters to see the movie, the culmination of the MCU, an event that was ten years in the making. This makes it likely that 2019’s Avengers 4 will take in even more money, especially with Marvel promising a movie that is bigger and better than even Infinity War. This massive success is probably also why Feige doesn’t believe that the MCU will ever end, which is good news for fans who just can’t seem to get enough of the franchise.

It’s always nice when those involved with making successful movies remember those people who pay to see those movies. Kudos to Feige and Brolin for taking the time to say thank you to fans who made sure that Avengers: Infinity War was such a huge box office success over its opening weekend alone.
